अब्दुल कलाम ने बताया कि सामने कैसे देखो और उसे पूरा कैसे करो…

मिसाइल मैन अब्दुल कलाम आजाद का जीवन बहुत ही सादा था। गरीब परिवार में पैदा होने के कारण बचपन से ही उनका जीवन संघर्ष से भरा हुआ था, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी हार नही मानी। उन्होंने जिस भी सपने को देखा, उसे पूरा भी किया। हमें उनके जीवन से कई सारी सीख मिलती है, लेकिन उन्होंने हमें सपने देखने की सीख दी औऱ सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए संघर्ष करना सिखा दिया।

जब कलाम साहब छोटे थे और स्कूल में पढ़ते थे तभी से उनका सपना था कि उन्हें आसमान में उड़ना है, लेकिन उनके घर की आर्थिक स्थिति ठीक नही थी। फिर भी उन्होंने सपने को पीछे नही छोड़ा बल्कि उसके लिए कड़ा संघर्ष किया। और अंत मे उन्होंने सपने को पूरा भी किया। उन्होंने हमेशा से यही बताया है कि अगर सपना देखना है तो खुली आँखों से देखो, जो सपने बन्द आंखों से देखे जाते हैं वो कभी पूरे नही होते। उनका एक quote बहुत ही प्रभावशाली है –

“सपने तो वो होते है, जो सोने नही देते, और हमेशा आपको याद दिलाते रहते हैं कि आपको क्या करना है।”

अब्दुल कलाम जी से ही हमने सीखा कि सपने कैसे देखना है। अब इस सपने को पूरा कैसे करना है। जब वो स्कूल में पढ़ते थे, तभी से उन्हें पता था कि आखिर उन्हें अपने जीवन मे क्या करना है। इसके लिए उन्होंने अपने जीवन मे जो भी कदम उठाए वो कदम उन्हें उनके सपनों तक लेकर जाते थे। उनके घर की आर्थिक स्थिति ऐसी थी कि एक वक्त का खाना भी बड़ी मुश्किल से मिलता था। लेकिन उन्हें तो अपना सपना पूरा करना था। उन्हें पेपर भी बेचा, लेकिन कभी अपने सपने को पाने के लक्ष्य को छोड़ा नही। उस लक्ष्य को पाने के लिए अपने जीवन मे बहुत कड़ा संघर्ष किया और अंत मे अपने सपने को पूरा भी किया।

उन्होंने अपने सपने को पूरी जिंदगी जिया, हमें भी उनके जीवन से सीखना चाहिए। हम सपने तो देखते हैं, लेकिन कभी उसे अपना लक्ष्य नही बना पाते। थोड़ी सी परेशानी से घबराकर हम अपने लक्ष्य से पीछे हट जाते हैं। यही सबसे बड़ी कमजोरी है जो हमें सफल होने से रोकती है। हमें अपनी परेशानी को सफलता पाने की सीढ़ी की तरह इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए, तभी हम सफल हो सकते है। वरना रोज लोग नए-नए सपने देखते देखते अपना जीवन बिता देते है।
अब्दुल कलाम साहब ने अपने जीवन मे सिर्फ़ एक ही सपना देखा था और वो ऊंचाइयों में उड़ना था। हमें उनके जीवन से बहुत कुछ सीखना चाहिए।

The History of Indian Women is full of pioneers, who have broken the glass ceiling in their fields and have achieved milestone. They fought against the gender barriers and worked hard for their rights. Let me tell you the names which were considered the ‘First’ times when Indian Women achieved their success.

India’s First Woman President – Pratibha Patil

Our first woman president, Pratibha Patil, served as the 12th president of India between 2007 and 2012. Born on December 19, 1934 in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, She started her career as a lawyer, before moving on to a successful political career. She was dubbed as the most merciful president in 30 years since 1981.

India’s First Woman Prime Minister – Indira Gandhi

The Only Indian Woman sworn in as India’s first woman Prime Minister was Indira Gandhi. Born in 1917, Indira was a renowned politician, known for centralization of Power and political ruthlessness. Referred as the ‘first woman in a man’s world’, She was also called as the ‘Iron Lady’ of India.

India’s First Woman Astronaut – Kalpana Chawla

It is said that Kalpana Chawla chose her own name at nursery school as her parents were yet to choose a formal name for her. With such inspiration, Kalpana studied Aeronautics and in 1997, she became the first Indian woman Astronaut to fly in space. On her first mission, Kalpana travelled over 10.4 million miles in 252 orbits of the earth, logging more than 372 hours in space.

India’s First Woman Fighter Pilot – Avani Chaturvedi

Born in 1993, Avani Chaturvedi has become the first Indian women flying officer to flight a fighter jet MiG-21 Bason. Her aspiration is to become a good fighter pilot and to fly the best aircraft. She was inspired by Army officers in her family to join Indian Air Force.

India’s First Woman Governor of India – Sarojini Naidu

The very first woman governor of an Indian state was Sarojini Naidu. Born in year 1879, she was a freedom fighter and poet. She was called the ‘Nightingale of India’ or Bharatiya Kokila because her poems are rich in imagery and emotions. Also, She was the first Indian woman to become the President of the Indian National Congress.

India’s First Woman Judge of Supreme Court – M Fathima Beevi

‘M Fathima Beevi’ is the first Indian woman judge of the Supreme Court of India. Born in 1927, She became the first woman to top the Bar Council of India’s exam in 1950. She rose from an advocate in Kerala’s lower judiciary to becoming the munsif in the Kerala Subordinate Judicial Services and a judge of the Kerala High Court in 1983.

India’s First Woman IAS Officer – Anna Rajam Malhotra

In an age when most of the women did not even try getting into civil service, Anna Rajam Malhotra fought gender bias to become India’s first woman IAS officer in 1951. Born in 1927, Anna Rajam Malhotra was a hard-working and stubbornly honest lady, her life has inspired many others to take up the challenges and setting examples.

India’s First Woman IPS Officer – Kiran Bedi

Born in 1949, Kiran Bedi is the first woman to join the Indian Police Service (IPS). In 2003 Bedi became the first woman and the first Indian to be appointed United Nations civilian police adviser. She also has worked as a Lecturer of Political Science at Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar. She was awarded the United Nations Medal for her work in Peace Keeping operations of United Nations.

India’s First Woman Advocate – Cornelia Sorabji

Born in 1866, Cornelia Sorabji was the first Indian woman graduate in law from Bombay university. She was also the first Indian national to attend a British University and to practice law in India and England. Her parents were the biggest supporter in achieving her dream. On November 15, 2017, Sorabji was honored in Google Doodle.

India’s First Woman Bus Driver – M Vasanthakumari

Since she was not having a degree to apply for a job, she made her passion her mode of living. And then only, Asia got its first woman bus driver, M Vasanthakumari, an Indian woman. She has become an inspiration to many lives now breaking the stereotype in this Man dominating world. 57-year-old Vasanthakumari joined service in 1933.

I was reading some good stuff online when suddenly my eyes stopped on something, and that was the poem written by the world famous Ravindra Nath Tagore, who also wrote our National Anthem as well. Following are the few lines from his poem, which I would want you to read and understand:

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls

It has been said that people’s greatest enemy is Fear. Millions of people are afraid of the past, the future, old age, insanity, and Death. It’s behind failures.. behind sickness.. Fear is in your mind. Infact it’s a just a thought in your mind which means you are afraid of your own thoughts.. Sounds odd, but it’s true. fear is just a mere thought until you vanish it or overlap it with something more powerful. So if it’s just a thought, then why can’t we let it go? Let it go off!

Once you let it go, it will overcome. When you affirm positivity that you are going to master your fears, you come to a definite decision in your mind, and you will feel that the so called fear has gone, that fear which wasn’t letting you do anything.. has gone.. has been vanished.

Once this fear is gone, you are FREE. You can do whatever you want to do. You can achieve whatever you want to achieve. Because you are FREE. Your mind is FREE. And then the moment comes when you actually are free to taste what freedom is!

Sourav Ganguly becoming the savior of the Indian Cricket Team!

Sourav Ganguly has recently been elected as the new BCCI President and the cricket personalities including fans are having high expectations from him after listening to this news. Sourav Ganguly is one of the most experienced cricket personalities of India. Before becoming the BCCI president, he was the President of Cricket Association of Bengal. Sourav during his initial years in cricket had dedicated his time to become one of the top class cricket players. He was known as the God of the offside as for his expertise in playing shots square of the wicket and through the covers.

He has also been given the Captaincy of the Indian Cricket Team in 2000, and he has managed the position very well. He had to lead the Indian cricket team to an enormous number of victories. He has very good bonding with players all around the globe. Despite having faced many criticisms – controversy with former Indian coach Greg Chappell he has proved his worth. I agree that after 2004 his performance went down but he fought back and made several comebacks into the National Team. After retirement from International Cricket in 2008 ‘The Prince of Calcutta’ did not rest in fact he decided to play IPL. Ganguly after becoming the BCCI president has given us hope for the betterment of the Indian Cricket Team. He has already taken the initiative for India’s first Day and Night Test match which will become one of the historic moments if played.

He has also approached his friend and former opening partner Sachin Tendulkar to groom the newcomers or future stars of Indian Cricket. Ganguly has also declared that he will also take the help of other legendary cricket players to shape the future of future star players. Unfortunately, Ganguly cannot hold his post of the President of the BCCI for more than 10 months as he has already served several posts for the cricket board, he has to go through a cool-down period of 3 years according to the rule. But we are hoping that the rule should be changed as he is very much worthy of this position and for such a legendary person the cooldown rule should be changed.

You all must have heard about ‘Unity in Diversity’. This proverb certainly suit for INDIA, where you will see people with numerous races, castes, creeds, religions, languages and cultures. The high mountain ranges, vast seas, large river-irrigated lands, countless lines and dark forests, all these have adorned India with an exceptional diversity. India is a country where diversity is at its peak. Here, people of different religion and caste live together with unity, and speak different languages while keeping each one’s identity and values unique.

Since my childhood, I have been noticing that India being the second largest country by population has a wonderful amalgamation of caste, creed, religion and that’s all with love and by sharing love with each one and everyone. And honestly, such was all like a dream to me until 9 th November’2019. On 9 th Nov’19, 10:30am, one verdict came which proved this proverb more strongly. Eventually this changed my thoughts on this as well. This was about the long pending case, ‘The Ayodhya Verdict’ or The ‘Babri Verdict’ (whichever suits you!). This verdict was all about politics, historical and socio-religious debate on a piece of land in the city of Ayodhya.

This was perhaps the most longest-running battle in India’s legal history which was filed 134 years ago and concluded just now. For the decades, this case has wound its way up through the legal hierarchy, starting from Faizabad civil court to lucknow bench to the Supreme Court, passing through various evidences, hearings, and more. The verdict was supposed to impact millions of life as this was between the majority and minority. Before the verdict, the Govt. of India issued an advisory to maintain peace, stay calm, etc. Section 144 was imposed across the states of Uttar Pradesh, and in some parts of Delhi, Haryana, etc. All sensitive areas (Muslim-prone areas) were kept under close observation. People were continuously asked to maintain peace.

However, somewhere in my heart, I was stick to one point about which I am writing here: Unity! This word had home in my heart and this verdict certainly proved that as well. The verdict came and to my all surprise, things went off well. It’s been like 10 days and I can see peace everywhere and across the places. People are happy, and calm. No issues were reported where in even a single person was hurt or violence. This is True India where irrespective of different thoughts, all are friends, moving ahead holding each other’s hand. They all are people of my country. Humble, Calm and Peace-loving!

So people, stay happy, stay healthy. Don’t listen to the politicians as they will only distract you, break you and part you. Follow the learning of Brotherhood and keep growing.

Hrithik is one of the best dancers that Bollywood has ever produced and he is one of the sexiest men alive. His recent films Super 30 and War have been in the list of top 10 Highest Box Office Collections of 2019. Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan who is also a veteran actor/director has announced their next project Krrish 4 which has been planned to be released in December 2020.

Hrithik has separated from his wife Sussane in 2014 since then a lot of controversies have been going on about him and Kangana Ranaut but despite all the rumors Hrithik is trying to work out his broken marriage, in fact, he has still been in a friendly relationship with his ex-wife. Hrithik is an ideal father as he has a very good relationship with his two sons, if you are a follower of his social media account then you can get a glimpse of the moments that he has spent with his children. After 2017 when Hrithik took a break from films his fans were eagerly waiting for his comeback, Hrithik took his time and came back in 2019 with two different sets of movies and his fans has stormed the theatre. He has received many offers from Hollywood but to date, he has rejected them. We are looking forward to seeing him in a Hollywood movie.

15 अगस्त को पूरा भारत बड़े धूम धाम से अपना 73वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाने जा रहा है। शायद ही कोई ऐसा देशवासी होगा जो इस दिन के बारे में न जानता हो। 15 अगस्त 1947 (Independence Day) को भारत देश ब्रिटिश शासन से आजाद हुआ था। तभी से इस दिन को भारतीय आजादी के रूप में मनाते है। अंग्रेज़ो ने भारत पर करीब 200 साल तक राज किया। जिसके बाद कई स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के संघर्ष के चलते 1947 में इसी दिन भारत को अंग्रेज़ो से आजादी मिली।

आजादी (Independence Day) के साथ उसी दौरान भारत दो हिस्सों में भी बटा था। पाकिस्तान को भी इसी दिन आजादी मिली थी। लेकिन पाकिस्तान अपना स्वतंत्रता दिवस भारत से एक दिन पहले 14 अगस्त को मनाता है। एक अलग राष्ट्र के तौर पर पाकिस्तान को 14 अगस्त को ही स्वीकृति मिली थी। तभी से पाकिस्तान 14 अगस्त को ही अपना स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाता है।

वहीं अगर भारत की बात करें तो सभी जानते है कि इस देश को आजादी दिलाने में राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की अहम भूमिका रही थी। लेकिन इस बात से काफी लोग अंजान होंगे कि आजादी के जश्न में महात्मा गांधी शामिल नहीं थे। उस समय गांधी जी बंगाल के नोआखली में थे, जहां वे हिंदुओं और मुस्लिमों के बीच हो रही सांप्रदायिक हिंसा को रोकने के लिए अनशन कर रहे थे। आजादी से जुड़े ऐसे ही कई किस्से है जिसके बारे में काफी कम लोग जानते है।

आइए नजर डालते है स्वतंत्रता दिवस (Independence Day) से जुड़े ऐसे ही कुछ रोचक तथ्यों के बारे में-

15 अगस्त 1947 को भारत आजाद हुआ तो उसमें महात्मा गांधी के योगदान को शायद ही कभी भूला जा सके। लेकिन उस दौरान भी महात्मा गांधी जश्न से हजारों मील दूर बंगाल में थे। जहां वह हिंदुओं और मुस्लिमों के बीच हो रही सांप्रदायिक हिंसा को रोकने के लिए अनशन कर रहे थे।
15 अगस्त को आजादी मिलने के बाद महात्मा गांधी को एक पत्र लिखा गया। ये पत्र जवाहर लाल नेहरू और सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल ने लिखा था। इस पत्र में लिखा था, ’15 अगस्त हमारा पहला स्वाधीनता दिवस होगा। आप राष्ट्रपिता है, इसमें शामिल हों आप अपना आशीर्वाद दें।’
14 अगस्त की मध्यरात्रि को जवाहर लाल नेहरू ने अपना ऐतिहासिक भाषण ‘ट्रिस्ट विद डेस्टनी’ दिया था। इस भाषण को पूरी दुनिया ने सुना, लेकिन गांधी जी उस दिन 9 बजे सोने चले गए थे।
15 अगस्त के दिन पाकिस्तान भारत से अलग हुआ लेकिन उस समय भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच सीमा रेखा का निर्धारण नहीं हुआ था। इसका फैसला 17 अगस्त को रेडक्लिफ लाइन की घोषणा से हुआ था।
भारत के अलावा इस दिन 3 और देश अपना स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाने लगे। 15 अगस्त की तारीख को ही दक्षिण कोरिया, बहरीन और कांगो देश का भी स्वतंत्रता दिवस होता है।
आपको जानकर हैरानी होगी कि 15 अगस्त 1947 को, 1 रुपया 1 डॉलर के बराबर था और सोने का भाव 88 रुपए 62 पैसे प्रति 10 ग्राम था।
15 अगस्त के दिन भारत के प्रधानमंत्री लाल किले से झंडा फहराते है लेकिन 1947 में ऐसा नहीं हुआ था। लोकसभा सचिवालय के एक शोध पत्र के मुताबिक नेहरू ने 16 अगस्त 1947 को लाल किले से झंडा फहराया था।

जल सरंक्षण – आओ मिलकर करें प्रयास

यह तो हम सब जानते ही हैं कि पृथ्वी पर जीवन के लिए जल उतना ही आवश्यक है जितनी की वायु, लेकिन वर्तमान में सबसे चिंता की बात यह है कि पृथ्वी पर स्वच्छ और ताजे पानी की मात्रा दिन प्रतिदिन घटती जा रही है। साथ ही सबसे दुखद बात यह भी है कि लोग अभी भी जल सरंक्षण के महत्व को लेकर पूर्ण रूप से जागरूक नही हो पाये हैं। क्या आप जानते है कि, पृथ्वी का तीन चौथाई भाग जल से घिरा हुआ है लेकिन इतना जल होते हुए भी उसमे से बहुत कम प्रतिशत उपयोग करने लायक होता है। इस तीन चौथाई जल का 97 प्रतिशत जल नमकीन है जो मनुष्य द्वारा प्रयोग करने लायक नही है। सिर्फ 3 प्रतिशत जल उपयोग में लाने लायक है।

इस 3 प्रतिशत में से 2 प्रतिशत तो धरती पर बर्फ और ग्लेशियर के रूप में है और बाकी का बचा हुआ 1 प्रतिशत ही पीने लायक है। और धीरे-धीरे यह भी कम होता जा रहा है। इस कम होते जल स्तर का प्रभाव पर्यावरण पर भी पड़ रहा है, प्रकृति यह सब अपने आप नही कर रही है बल्कि इसके पूर्ण रूप से जिम्मेदार हम मनुष्य ही हैं। अपने आंशिक लाभ के लिए मनुष्य इस अनमोल सम्पदा को नष्ट एवं दूषित कर रहा है, यदि ऐसा ही रहा तो मनुष्य अपने रोजमर्रा के जरुरी कामों के लिए भी पानी को तरस जायेगा। अतः बेहद जरुरी है कि अब इस घटते जलस्तर को बचाने के लिए हमें जागरूक होकर हर सम्भव प्रयास करने होंगे।

जल सरंक्षण के लिए ये 10 प्रयास अवश्य करें –

1. शहरों में प्रत्येक आवास के लिए रिचार्ज कूपों का निर्माण अवश्य किया जाना चाहिए जिससे वर्षा का पानी नालों में न बहकर भूमिगत हो जाये।

2. नगरों और महानगरों में घरों की नालियो के पानी को गड्ढे बनाकर एकत्र किया जाये और पेड़ पौधों की सिंचाई के काम में लिया जाये तो साफ़ पेयजल की काफी मात्रा में बचत संभव है।

3. दिन के शुरुआती हिस्से में ही अपने लॉन को पानी दें, जल्दी पानी देने और देर से पानी देने से बचें क्योंकि इससे वाष्पीकरण के कारण पानी की कमी होती है।

4. अपने घर की पानी के रीडिंग को नियमित अंतराल पर जांचे, ताकी जब पानी की आवश्यकता से अधिक इस्तेमाल होने की आशंका हो तब यह जांच कर पायें की कहीं पानी का रिसाव तो नहीं हो रहा।

5. जल सरंक्षण हेतु रेनवाटर हार्वेस्टिंग तकनीक का सहारा लेना चाहिए, यह तकनीक पानी की कमी से निपटने का जबरदस्त तरीका है, कई बार तो ऐसा देखने में आया है कि इस तकनीक से इतना जल एकत्र हो जाता है कि दूसरे स्त्रोत की आवश्यकता ही नही पड़ती। यहाँ तक कि दूसरों को पानी देने में भी सक्षम हो जाते हैं।

6. पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरूकता भी जरुरी है क्योंकि पर्यावरण संतुलन का सकारात्मक प्रभाव जल सरंक्षण पर पड़ता है, कटते वृक्षो के कारण भूमि की नमी लगातार कम हो रही है जिससे भूमिजल स्तर पर बुरा असर पड़ रहा है। अतः जरुरी है कि वृक्षारोपण के प्रति जागरूकता पैदा की जाये।

7. सार्वजानिक स्थल पर नल की टोंटी अक्सर ख़राब रहती है उसकी मरम्मत करवाने प्रयास करें ताकि हजारों लीटर पानी बर्बाद होने से बचाया जा सके।

8. घर में पानी का मीटर लगवाएं। आप जितना पानी उपयोग करेंगे, उसके हिसाब से उसका बिल आएगा, बिल देते समय आपको समझ आएगा कि आपने कितना पानी बर्बाद किया है और फिर आगे से ध्यान रखेंगे।

9. लो पावर वाली वाशिंग मशीन का उपयोग करें इससे पानी की बचत होगी और बिजली भी कम लगेगी।

10. जल सरंक्षण विषय को व्यापक अभियान की तरह सरकारी और गैर सरकारी दोनों स्तरों पर प्रचारित करने की जरूरत है जिससे छोटे बड़े सभी इसकी गंभीरता को समझें और इस अभियान में आप अपनी भी भूमिका अदा करें।

राष्ट्र के सम्मान की रक्षा के लिए स्वयं को समर्पित कर वीरगति को प्राप्त करने वाली वीरांगना रानी लक्ष्मीबाई के साहस एवं प्रेरणादायी जीवन को सुप्रसिद्ध कवयित्री सुभद्रा कुमारी चौहान ने अपने शब्दों में पिरोया है। आइये, उस महान रचना का स्मरण कर हम उस वीरांगना को भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करें –

सिंहासन हिल उठे राजवंशों ने भृकुटी तानी थी,
बूढ़े भारत में आई फिर से नयी जवानी थी,
गुमी हुई आज़ादी की कीमत सबने पहचानी थी,
दूर फिरंगी को करने की सबने मन में ठानी थी।
चमक उठी सन सत्तावन में, वह तलवार पुरानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

कानपूर के नाना की, मुँहबोली बहन छबीली थी,
लक्ष्मीबाई नाम, पिता की वह संतान अकेली थी,
नाना के सँग पढ़ती थी वह, नाना के सँग खेली थी,
बरछी ढाल, कृपाण, कटारी उसकी यही सहेली थी।
वीर शिवाजी की गाथायें उसकी याद ज़बानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

लक्ष्मी थी या दुर्गा थी वह स्वयं वीरता की अवतार,
देख मराठे पुलकित होते उसकी तलवारों के वार,
नकली युद्ध-व्यूह की रचना और खेलना खूब शिकार,
सैन्य घेरना, दुर्ग तोड़ना ये थे उसके प्रिय खिलवार।
महाराष्ट्र-कुल-देवी उसकी भी आराध्य भवानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

हुई वीरता की वैभव के साथ सगाई झाँसी में,
ब्याह हुआ रानी बन आई लक्ष्मीबाई झाँसी में,
राजमहल में बजी बधाई खुशियाँ छाई झाँसी में,
चित्रा ने अर्जुन को पाया, शिव से मिली भवानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

उदित हुआ सौभाग्य, मुदित महलों में उजियाली छाई,
किंतु कालगति चुपके-चुपके काली घटा घेर लाई,
तीर चलाने वाले कर में उसे चूड़ियाँ कब भाई,
रानी विधवा हुई, हाय! विधि को भी नहीं दया आई।
निसंतान मरे राजाजी रानी शोक-समानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

बुझा दीप झाँसी का तब डलहौज़ी मन में हरषाया,
राज्य हड़प करने का उसने यह अच्छा अवसर पाया,
फ़ौरन फौजें भेज दुर्ग पर अपना झंडा फहराया,
लावारिस का वारिस बनकर ब्रिटिश राज्य झाँसी आया।
अश्रुपूर्णा रानी ने देखा झाँसी हुई बिरानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

अनुनय विनय नहीं सुनती है, विकट शासकों की माया,
व्यापारी बन दया चाहता था जब यह भारत आया,
डलहौज़ी ने पैर पसारे, अब तो पलट गई काया,
राजाओं नबाबो को भी उसने पैरों ठुकराया।
रानी दासी बनी, बनी यह दासी अब महरानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

छिनी राजधानी दिल्ली की, लखनऊ छीना बातों-बात,
कैद पेशवा था बिठुर में, हुआ नागपुर का भी घात,
उदैपुर, तंजौर, सतारा, करनाटक की कौन बिसात?
जबकि सिंध, पंजाब ब्रह्म पर अभी हुआ था वज्र-निपात।
बंगाले, मद्रास आदि की भी तो वही कहानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

रानी रोयीं रिनवासों में, बेगम ग़म से थीं बेज़ार,
उनके गहने कपड़े बिकते थे कलकत्ते के बाज़ार,
सरे आम नीलाम छापते थे अंग्रेज़ों के अखबार,
‘नागपूर के ज़ेवर ले लो लखनऊ के लो नौलख हार’।
यों परदे की इज़्ज़त परदेशी के हाथ बिकानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

कुटियों में भी विषम वेदना, महलों में आहत अपमान,
वीर सैनिकों के मन में था अपने पुरखों का अभिमान,
नाना धुंधूपंत पेशवा जुटा रहा था सब सामान,
बहिन छबीली ने रण-चण्डी का कर दिया प्रकट आहवान।
हुआ यज्ञ प्रारम्भ उन्हें तो सोई ज्योति जगानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

महलों ने दी आग, झोंपड़ी ने ज्वाला सुलगाई थी,
यह स्वतंत्रता की चिनगारी अंतरतम से आई थी,
झाँसी चेती, दिल्ली चेती, लखनऊ लपटें छाई थी,
मेरठ, कानपूर, पटना ने भारी धूम मचाई थी,
जबलपूर, कोल्हापूर में भी कुछ हलचल उकसानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

इस स्वतंत्रता महायज्ञ में कई वीरवर आए काम,
नाना धुंधूपंत, ताँतिया, चतुर अज़ीमुल्ला सरनाम,
अहमदशाह मौलवी, ठाकुर कुँवरसिंह सैनिक अभिराम,
भारत के इतिहास गगन में अमर रहेंगे जिनके नाम।
लेकिन आज जुर्म कहलाती उनकी जो कुरबानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

इनकी गाथा छोड़, चले हम झाँसी के मैदानों में,
जहाँ खड़ी है लक्ष्मीबाई मर्द बनी मर्दानों में,
लेफ्टिनेंट वाकर आ पहुँचा, आगे बड़ा जवानों में,
रानी ने तलवार खींच ली, हुया द्वन्द्ध असमानों में।
ज़ख्मी होकर वाकर भागा, उसे अजब हैरानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

रानी बढ़ी कालपी आई, कर सौ मील निरंतर पार,
घोड़ा थक कर गिरा भूमि पर गया स्वर्ग तत्काल सिधार,
यमुना तट पर अंग्रेज़ों ने फिर खाई रानी से हार,
विजयी रानी आगे चल दी, किया ग्वालियर पर अधिकार।
अंग्रेज़ों के मित्र सिंधिया ने छोड़ी रजधानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

विजय मिली, पर अंग्रेज़ों की फिर सेना घिर आई थी,
अबके जनरल स्मिथ सम्मुख था, उसने मुहँ की खाई थी,
काना और मंदरा सखियाँ रानी के संग आई थी,
युद्ध श्रेत्र में उन दोनों ने भारी मार मचाई थी।
पर पीछे ह्यूरोज़ आ गया, हाय! घिरी अब रानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

तो भी रानी मार काट कर चलती बनी सैन्य के पार,
किन्तु सामने नाला आया, था वह संकट विषम अपार,
घोड़ा अड़ा, नया घोड़ा था, इतने में आ गये अवार,
रानी एक, शत्रु बहुतेरे, होने लगे वार-पर-वार।
घायल होकर गिरी सिंहनी उसे वीर गति पानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

रानी गई सिधार चिता अब उसकी दिव्य सवारी थी,
मिला तेज से तेज, तेज की वह सच्ची अधिकारी थी,
अभी उम्र कुल तेइस की थी, मनुज नहीं अवतारी थी,
हमको जीवित करने आयी बन स्वतंत्रता-नारी थी,
दिखा गई पथ, सिखा गई हमको जो सीख सिखानी थी,
बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी,
खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झाँसी वाली रानी थी।।

जाओ रानी याद रखेंगे ये कृतज्ञ भारतवासी,

भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के एक प्रखर सैनानी एवं मातृभक्त कवि “राम प्रसाद बिस्मिल”, जिन्होने अपनी मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए ब्रिटिश सरकार को चुनौती दी और केवल ३० वर्ष की आयु में ही हँसते-हँसते फांसी के फंदे पर झूल गये। एक सच्चे देशभक्त होने के साथ-साथ वे एक कवि भी थे। उनकी कविताओं में मातृभूमि के प्रति प्रेम तथा देश के लिए मर मिटने की भावना प्रभावी रूप से प्रत्यक्ष होती थी। तो आईये! उन्हें याद करते हुए, उन्हीं की एक रचना को पढ़कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करें।

By drinking 2.5-4 liters of water daily, body works not only good but also reduces the possibility of cardiovascular and diabetes. Drinking water daily may lead to better blood sugar control and insulin levels. Thereby, this reduces the risk of diabetes.

3. Use Fruits and Natural Herbs

Consumption of fruits and natural herb may definitely control your blood sugar level. Eat a fruit daily like apple, papaya and guava. Avoid banana and cheeku because they will increase the level of glucose in your blood so always eat low glucose level fruit. This is an easy solution to keep control of diabetes. But being in the sunlight more than necessary, you may also have skin cancer.

Avani Chaturvedi – The Woman Fighter Jet Pilot

”Give her wings and she will fly high!”

Avani Chaturvedi is that woman who has shattered the glass ceiling and flew high in the sky. Born on 27 October 1993, Avani is one of the three in the first batch of female pilots, besides Bhawana Kanth and Mohana Singh, who were inducted in Indian Air Force fighter squadron on 18 June, 2016. She was highly inspired by her elder brother and she also had a few hours of flying experience in the flying club of her college, which inspired her to join the Indian Air Force. In a country where it was a mindset that women are physically not suited to fly fighter jets and would potentially face problems while operating the flying machines, it was indeed a red letter day for the country when Flying Officer Chaturvedi took to the skies in a MiG-21 Bison. Avani’s remarkable achievement has put India on the list of the countries such as Britain, the United States, Israel, etc. where women are allowed to fly fighter jets.

Bachendri Pal – The Indian Woman Mountaineer

Bachendri pal was born on May 24, 1954. In the year 1990, she was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for her achievement as the first Indian woman mountaineer to climb Mount Everest. She was also awarded the National Adventure Award by the Government of India in 1994. Even though as she faced immense pressure from her parents to get married due to their financial inability, she managed to get rid of all the problems and was ready to climb the Everest. The climb to Everest wasn’t a cakewalk. While Bachendri’s team commenced its ascent in May 1984, they almost met with a disaster as an avalanche hit them, and half the members were injured then. But she was determined and continued her ascent. On 23 May 1984, afternoon 1:07 P.M, history was created and the summit of the Everest was reached.

Geeta Phogat – The Indian Woman Wrestler

Wrestling is for Mens! And Geeta Phogat is that woman who broke the myth and became the Indian Woman wrestler. Born on December 15, 1988, She has brought Gold in many games such as Commonwealth games (2010), FILA Asian Olympic tournament. She became the first Indian to qualify for Olympics (London 2012). The same year, she won a bronze medal at the World Championship, another first in the history of Indian female wrestling. Initially, she had a face multiple viewpoints of society because the profession requires lot of physical work, push ups, endurance training. But It was her father, who didn’t listen to the society, and encouraged her to join wrestling. Infact, her all sisters are currently in the same profession.

Zubeida Begum – The First Indian Actress

Zubeida Begum was born in 1926. She was the daughter of Respected Nawab Dhanrajgir Family. At the age of 12, She became the first Indian film actress to be featured in an Indian movie named “Kohinoor”. She stepped into the realms of cinema at a time when acting was not considered a very revered profession for women, let alone the royal background. Therefore, when she confessed her aspiration to become an actress, her father became infuriated and arranged her marriage with a man. She has a son from this marriage named Khalid Mohamed. It was, however, a very unhappy marriage that broke after the partition of India. Her love for films could be seen from her acting and many actress have learnt acting skills from her.

During the driving test, they asked her to drive along the figure eight formation. When she started, all the officials ran to safety thinking she may drive in a haphazard manner,” she reminisces.
